SANDEN’S NEW, FLEXIBLE COMPRESSOR SERIES – FLX7

FLX7 Features and Benefits l The FLX7 utilizes interchangeable parts to increase flexibility and adaptability to a variety of vehicle applications. FLX7 compressors come standard with enhanced features previously found only on premium compressors. Features and benefits include: l A variety of clutch rotor configurations: single, double, sealed heavy-duty and multi-groove rotors are available in 12 and 24 volt options. l Each FLX7 comes with both a bullet and a sealed Packard clutch lead wire terminal for application flexibility. l For protection, every FLX7 comes equipped with a pressure relief valve to guard against abnormal pressure conditions. A field coil diode is also included to prevent electrical damage caused by voltage surges. l The FLX7 uses a standard GM pad-style cylinder head which receives a variety of port fittings ready to accommodate vertical and horizontal hose attachment. The port fittings are sold separately from the com- pressor, allowing the user to adapt a single compressor to fit many applications. l Each port fitting is made of forged steel for superior strength vs. cast iron fittings.

The FLX7 starts with the same SD7H15 com- pressor known throughout the automotive industry for its performance and durability. l Seven cylinders for reduced operating pulsations, reduced noise and improved performance. l Available in ear mount or direct mount configurations for flexibility and adaptability over a broad range of applications. l Superior lubricating system for increased durability and high temperature perfor- mance. l Heavy-duty bearing to handle higher pres- sures and loads. l Shaft seal for greater leak protection and durability.
